How to Get Started
Step 1: Download and Install BDRSuite Backup Server

Step 2: Create Backup Repository Configuration
Configure local or remote storage, including DAS, NAS, SAN, or opt for public cloud storage like Azure Blob, S3, Google Cloud, or S3-compatible storage options such as Wasabi or MinIO as your backup storage destination.
Step 3: Add NAS / File Share as a Data Source
Navigate to the 'Hypervisors, Servers & Endpoints' tab and select 'Data Sources -> NAS/File Share.' Enter the details of the NAS / File Share you want to back up. Ensure that the necessary permissions are in place for access.

Step 4: Configure Backup for NAS / File Share
Name your backup job and select the configured backup repository
Choose specific file shares and directories to back up from your NAS / File Share
Set up the backup schedules, retention policies, and encryption options
Save the backup job
You can monitor the backup progress, edit jobs, view reports, check statuses, and manage backup jobs from a centralized dashboard.
Step 5: NAS / File Share Recovery
Navigate to the 'Recovery' menu
Select the file shares or specific files and folders to restore
Choose the restore point or timestamp for the restore
Specify the target location for the restored data (either the original location or an alternate path)
Confirm the details and initiate the restoration process
