How to Get Started
Step 1: Download and Install BDRSuite Backup Server For setup guidance, watch the Backup Server Installation Video.
Step 2: Configure Tape as an Archival Target Connect and configure tape storage as an archival target in BDRSuite. Assign it as a storage destination for specific backup data.
Step 3: Set Up Tape Archiving Jobs
Create an archive job name and select data sources
Choose scheduling preferences for the archival job
Configure retention policies to meet compliance requirements
Save the archive job
BDRSuite lets you monitor archiving status, view reports, and manage archive jobs centrally. Check the demo video for a full walkthrough.
Step 4: Restore from Tape
Access the 'Restore from Tape' option
Select the required backup data and specify the restore point
Choose the destination and initiate restore
