How to Get Started
Step 1: Download and install BDRSuite Backup Server
To Install BDRSuite Backup Server, watch the Backup Server Installation Video below.
Step 2:Create Backup Repository Configuration
Configure local or remote storage such as DAS, NAS, SAN or Use your own public cloud storage like S3, Azure, Google, S3 Compatible like Wasabi, MinIO, etc as a backup storage target to store backup data.
Step 3: Add Microsoft 365 Organization as a Data Source
Navigate to the 'SaaS Applications' tab, select the 'Data Sources*' menu, and click on 'Microsoft 365 Organization' to add it as a data source in your BDRSuite backup server.

Step 4: Configure backup for Microsoft 365 Objects
Specify a backup job name & select the backup repository.
Choose specific items to back up;
User Mailbox : Mails, Archive Mailbox, OneDrive, Calendars, Contacts and Group & 1:1 Chats
Group Mailbox : Groups OneDrive
SharePoint Sites
Teams : Channels & Chats
Configure backup scheduling, retention and encryption policies.
Save the backup job.
You can monitor backup progress, edit job, view reports, check status and manage backup jobs centrally.
Step 5. Microsoft 365 Recovery
Navigate to the 'Recovery - Restore Backup Data' menu.
Choose the specific Microsoft 365 objects you want to recover.
Choose Restore Point or timestamp to restore.
Choose Items for Recovery;
User Mailbox : Entire Mailbox, Mails, Archive Mailbox, OneDrive, Calendars, Contacts and Group & 1:1 Chats
Group Mailbox : Group OneDrive
SharePoint Sites : Site, Library and Files/folders
Teams: Team, Channel, Library, Folder/items and Chats
Select Target Location:
User Mailbox : Select the same or a different location or a custom location within the source organization as the target, or download data in various formats such as PST, EML, and MBOX. Alternatively, you can choose a different organization as the target.
Group Mailbox : Select the same, different or a custom target location.
SharePoint Sites : Select the target site and the target library.
Teams : Select the target team and the target channel.
Review the restore details and initiate the restore.
