How to Get Started
Step 1: Download and Install BDRSuite Backup Server

Step 2: Create Backup Repository Configuration
Configure local or remote storage, including DAS, NAS, SAN, or choose public cloud storage like Azure Blob, S3, Google Cloud, or S3-compatible storage options such as Wasabi or MinIO as your backup storage target.
Step 3: Add MySQL Database as a Data Source
Navigate to the 'Applications &DBs' tab and select 'Add MySQL Database.' Enter the required connection details, including hostname, port, username, and password. Ensure that the necessary permissions are granted for accessing the MySQL database.

Step 4: Configure Backup for MySQL
Name your backup job and select the configured backup repository
Choose specific databases or tables to back up
Set up backup schedules, retention policies, and encryption options
Save the backup job
You can monitor backup progress, edit jobs, view reports, check statuses, and manage backup jobs from a centralized dashboard.
Step 5: MySQL Recovery
Navigate to the 'Recovery - Restore Backup Data' menu
Select the specific database or table to restore
Choose the restore point or timestamp for the restore
Specify the target location for restoration (either the original database or a new one)
Confirm the details and initiate the restoration process
