BDRSuite provides several options for adding Linux hosts for backup. Here are the different options available:
Manual Agent Installation: Install BDRSuite Backup Agent (BBA) on each backup host. once the agent establishes a connection to the backup server, the host will be automatically added to it.
Automatic Agent Installation: You need to provide the host details, such as the hostname/IP address and credentials, and save the host to the backup server. BDRSuite will then automatically install the BBA from the backup server onto the specified host.
Import Hosts from CSV File: If you need to add multiple hosts at once, this method is ideal. Create a CSV file containing the hostname/IP of all the hosts you want to back up. Then, select the CSV file and save it to BDRSuite. Next, install the BBA on each backup host, and the agent will connect to BDRSuite.
Import Hosts from AD/LDAP Server: With this option, you can select and add Linux hosts that are connected to your AD/LDAP server. BDRSuite allows for seamless integration with your existing server infrastructure.
