How to Add Users and Allocate/Purchase Licenses for SaaS Applications

This guide provides step-by-step instructions to add users and manage licenses for SaaS applications (such as Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace) via the portal. It covers both allocating existing licenses and purchasing new ones to ensure seamless user onboarding.

Steps to Add a User

  1. Login to the Portal Account: Access the portal using your credentials.

  2. Navigate to License Management: Go to License -> Manage M365/G-Workspace License.

  3. Initiate the Add User Process: Under the Actions column, click on the "Add User" option.

  4. Specify User Count: Enter the number of users you wish to add.

  5. Choose the License Option:

  1. Option 1: Use Existing License - If the customer has available licenses in the Global Pool, select "Use existing license."
  2. Option 2: Purchase New License- If no licenses are available, select "Purchase new license."
6. Complete the Process: Click on "Add User" to finalize the process.
Notes
  1. Ensure that the customer has sufficient licenses in the Global Pool before selecting "Use existing license."
  2. If purchasing a new license, follow any additional prompts to complete the purchase.
