Granular recovery of Microsoft Active Directory can be done directly from the BDRSuite Backup Server. Click on the Recovery tab, select Restore Backup Data, and choose the backup job to restore by clicking on the respective restore icon.
Various recovery options will be available, depending on your needs.
Step 1: Choose Host and Restore Type
Select the host from the list and choose Microsoft Active Directory Recovery as your restore type.
Step 2: Choose the Restore Version
Choose the restore point based on your configuration's retention policy.
Step 3: AD Database Selection
Choose the Active Directory database and the container or object you wish to restore.
Step 4: Restore Options
You can select one of the following options:
- Export as LDF
- Save to Local Machine
- Save to AD Server
For local machine storage, the data will be saved where Active Directory is installed. For AD Server storage, provide the IP, username, password, and check the AD server connectivity.
Step 5: Review & Restore
Review your restore settings and click Restore.
