  1. Download & Install BDRSuite: Start by downloading the BDRSuite 30-day free trial and setup in your environment.
  2. Add Proxmox Host: Add your Proxmox host as a data source within BDRSuite.
  3. Configure Backup Repository: Choose your storage repository —DAS, NAS, SAN, S3, Azure Blob, Google Cloud, or S3-compatible storage such as Wasabi, MinIO, Backblaze, etc.
  4. Configure Proxmox Backup Job:
    1. Select the Proxmox hosts/VMs to back up.
    2. Schedule automated backups at specific intervals.
    3. Set retention and encryption policies.
  5. Save & Run the Backup Job: The backup will run according to the schedule you’ve configured.
