Addressing CHKDSK Errors: Manual Intervention Needed for Software Upgrade on Windows XP OS
During the automatic software upgrade process, manual intervention is required if the client machine's (Windows XP 32 bit) OS volume encounters CHKDSK issues.
Automatic software upgrades may face complications if the client machine's OS volume has CHKDSK issues. Upon completing the upgrade, a pop-up message will appear with the following content: “Error in opening the XML file: C:\Program Files\Vembu\Vembu BDR\Vembu\Vembu BDR\htmlgui\conf\UIConfig.conf.”
1. Login to the client machine where the error occurred.
2. A pop-up message will appear with an 'OK' button.
3. Click the 'OK' button to proceed with the manual intervention required for resolving the CHKDSK issues.
This manual step ensures the successful completion of the software upgrade process on client machines with Windows XP 32-bit OS volumes facing CHKDSK errors.
