When a client's connection to the server is lost or closed unexpectedly, attempting an incremental backup may trigger an error message from the server stating "backup in progress." The backup server may not always detect the loss of connection, leading to the continuation of the earlier aborted incremental backup session.
Solution:
To address this issue and allow another incremental backup to proceed successfully, follow these steps:
1. Restart the backup server.
