Steps for Assigning Microsoft 365 & Google Workspace Licenses in BDRSuite Backup Server via BDRSuite Portal

Allotting Licenses for Customer:
1. Access the Customers portal console for the relevant account to allocate licenses.
2. Navigate to the "License" tab within the portal console.

3. On the customer's License page, select "Allot Licenses -> Allot Licenses to Server" to allocate the purchased license to a specific server type.

4. After choosing the server type, click the "Allot License to the Server" button next to the listed license details.

5. A pop-up will appear prompting you to choose the server from the list. Select the desired server and, in the subsequent drop-down, choose either "All" for server level or a specific "Organization."

6. Click the "Allot" button to complete the allocation either at the server level or to a specified organization level.

Note: Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace licenses are based on package-level licensing at both Server and Organization levels, and additional licenses cannot be allotted once a package is assigned. View allotted licenses on the "Manage M365/G-Workspace Licenses" tab based on both Server and Organization level active licenses.

Allotting Licenses for Service Provider:
1. To allocate a license to a service provider or a customer under a service provider, navigate directly to the License tab in the service provider portal console.
2. Under the "Allot Licenses to SP/Customer" tab, choose the server type, and click on "Allot Licenses to SP/Customer" alongside the licenses. 
3. After selecting the server type, a pop-up will appear asking you to allot the license by choosing either the service provider or the customer in the "Choose Customer" drop-down.

4. Once the option is chosen, the related server will be listed in the "Choose Server" tab.

Note: Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace licenses are based on package-level licensing at both Server and Organization levels. Additional licenses cannot be allotted once a package is assigned. View allotted licenses on the "Manage M365/G-Workspace Licenses" tab based on both Server and Organization level active licenses for both SP’s server and SP’s Customer server.
5. You can view the allotted licenses on “Manage M365/ G-Workspace Licenses” tab based on both Server and Organization level active licenses of both SP’s server and SP’s Customer server.
