Troubleshooting BDRSuite Integration Service Connection Issues
Encountering problems while connecting to BDRSuite Integration Service.
The issue typically arises in any of the following cases:
1. Vembu Integration Service is not running or is in a disabled state on the Microsoft Windows Server\Hyper-V host machine.
2. There is a network disconnection between the Microsoft Windows Server\Hyper-V host machine and the Backup Server.
3. Vembu Integration Service has been manually uninstalled from the Microsoft Windows Server\Hyper-V host machine.
4. The Microsoft Windows Server\Hyper-V host machine has been shut down.
Follow the steps below to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
1. Check whether Vembu Integration Service is running on the Microsoft Windows Server\Hyper-V Host machine. To do this:
- Navigate to the Microsoft Windows Server\Hyper-V host machine.
- Click Start > Run > type `services.msc` and press ENTER.
- If Vembu Integration Service has stopped, attempt to start the service. Check if the issue has been resolved.
2. If the problem persists, ensure there is no network disconnection between the Microsoft Windows Server\Hyper-V host machine and the Backup Server.
3. Confirm that Vembu Integration Service has not been manually uninstalled from the Microsoft Windows Server\Hyper-V host machine. If it has, reinstall the service.
4. If the Microsoft Windows Server\Hyper-V host machine was shut down, restart it, and check if the issue persists.
