Warning - Unknown: Write Failed: No Space Left on Device (28)

KB ID: 115011
Cause:
This error message occurs when there is insufficient disk space on the system to store session data.
Solution:
The BDRSuite application writes session information to a file, including details like logged-in time, authenticated user, username, and some PHP and BDRSuite application information. These files are automatically deleted upon successful user log-out. As these files are maintained in the BDRSuite installation directory, it is essential to ensure a minimum of 200 MB of free space in this directory.
If you encounter the above error on the index page or any other page in the web console, follow these steps:
1. Free up Disk Space:
  1. Clean up the disk where Vembu BDR is installed.
  2. Ensure a minimum of 200 MB of free space in the installation directory.
2. Verify Issue Resolution:
After freeing up space, check if the issue is resolved.
By maintaining adequate free space in the installation directory, you can prevent the "No Space Left on Device" error and ensure the smooth functioning of the Vembu-OnlineBackup application.
