Troubleshooting - Network Drive Files Not Listed for Backup
The mapped drive, which has been added, may lack sufficient permissions for the user under which the BDRSuite service is running.
To address this issue, follow the steps below to change the service control to a specific user or administrator associated with the mapped drive:
1. Open the Services control applet through either the "Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services" shortcut or by running the "services.msc" command in the "Start -> Run" tool.
2. Select the BDRSuite service and open its Properties dialog.
3. In the BDRSuite Services Properties dialog, navigate to the "Logon" tab. If it is set to 'Local System Account', update the user logon to be a power user or a user with administrator privileges to run the StoreGrid service.
4. Provide the correct username and password details. Click 'Apply' and 'Ok' to apply the changes.
5. Restart the BDRSuite service.
Now, verify whether files are listed in the web console for backup.
