At the moment  I make a trial run of BDRsuite with the free license.

I observe locking of directories  of vembuintegrationservice.exe even if there is no backup job running. 

The test bed:

- Windows 11 24H2

- Admin Account

- BDRsuite Windows Agent 7.6.0.0

-BDRsuite 7.6.0.1 on Ubuntu Linux

Procedure:

- Regular installation of Windows Agent BDRSuite_Delegation_Service_7_6_0_0.msi (no bulk installation) for files and folders backup

- Configuring a file and folder backup for

- Configuring Files and folder backup for  "C:\Users\ladmin\Downloads\test_directory_1"

- Run a successful backup job

- Trying to delete test_directory_1

Observations:

-Trying to delete test_directory_1 results in a Windows popup "Folder in use"

- I can not delete this folder (or others) while they are part of a backup job

- Files and Folders within test_directory_1 could be deleted without problems.

- If I remove test_directory_1 from the backup job, I can delete it without problems

- If I stop vembuintegrationservice.exe  manually I can delete test_directory_1 without problems

Question:

- Is this behavior of vembuintegrationservice.exe  the way it should work or is it a malfunction? If it is a malfunction, how could I repair it?
