New Features in BDRSuite v7.1.5:

Device Replacement:

BDRSuite now introduces a Device/Agent Replacement feature that streamlines the process, enabling users to effortlessly synchronize a newly installed agent with the one that was previously uninstalled or lost. This ensures that the new agent is connected to the backup configurations from the previous agent.

New host addition to existing backup job:

With the BDRSuite v7.1.5, agents/hosts/endpoint machines can now be seamlessly added to an existing backup job. This enhancement simplifies backup management by allowing users to expand their current backup configurations without creating separate jobs or editing the existing jobs in a traditional way.


Enhancements in BDRSuite v7.1.5:

  1. Enhanced search functionality on the Protected Entities Page.
  2. Updated download option on the Protected Entities Page to include Last Backup Time and Last Connected Time.
  3. Added host-level details to Server & Endpoint Backup Reports for better insights.
  4. Simplified Servers & Endpoints by removing IP addresses and DNS names from data source listings.
  5. Introduced Agent Host Name as a new column in export options for improved reporting.
  6. Implemented a clear alert message to notify users when attempting to create a new backup job for a disk that is already configured for backup.
  7. Microsoft Windows Server 2025 is fully supported for BDR/ODR/Remote Proxy, including Hyper-V backup.
