New Features in BDRSuite v7.1.2.U3:

Expanded Files and Folders Access:

Directly expand files and folders on the remote source machine from the centralized BDRSuite Backup Server for configuring endpoint backups.

Audit Logs Support:

Tracks actions such as Login/Logout, Backup Repository Create/Edit/Delete, Delete All Data, User Management actions, and Backup and Recovery Management.

VMware Linux Backup Proxy Support:

The VMware Linux Backup Proxy in BDRSuite is designed to enhance backup performance by offloading tasks to a dedicated Linux machine. It ensures efficient resource utilization and faster backups for VMware environments.

eDiscovery of emails:

Introducing content-based search for Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace user mailboxes for faster and more specific searches.

Offsite Copy for SaaS Backups:

BDRSuite now supports offsite copies for Microsoft 365 & Google Workspace backups to Offsite DR to ensure having multiple backup copies. That helps at times of disaster.

Backup Report Access for SaaS Users & Objects for Read-Only Tenant Users:

BDRSuite introduces an option for tenant users with read-only access to view backup reports for SaaS users and objects. Now, read-only tenant users can monitor backup activity and review data protection status without requiring full permissions, making it easier to ensure transparency and keep track of backup operations across SaaS environments.

Enhancements in BDRSuite v7.1.2.U3:

  1. User and object-level recovery support for MS365/GWS.
  2. Suspend and resume options for Offsite DR replication at server and job levels.
  3. Enable/disable Offsite DR feature at both server and job levels.
  4. Backup suspension is available at the endpoint level.
  5. Machine-level selection for disk image backups.

  7. Parallel restore implementation for download disk recovery.
  8. Automatic navigation to the device code authentication page after authorization.

  11. Monthly scheduling is now available for SaaS backups.
  12. Deleted file retention handling for Teams backups.
  13. Optimized performance for Google Drive backups.
  14. Custom job-level email notifications for MS365 and GWS backups.
  15. Parallel File Open will significantly reduce backup time on systems where file open operations are slow.
